We have some very sad news to share. We’ve recently said goodbye to our beloved Bertie and Nigs.

They were such a special part of life here at The Burlands, and we know how much so many of our guests loved seeing them during their stays. They featured heavily in our guestbooks and reviews and clearly left their mark on everyone who met them.

It only felt right to let you know, as we’re sure many of you will remember them fondly. They will both be missed more than words can say.

We still have our lovely Molly, who will be very happy to see you when you next visit. 🤍

We have two cosy shepherd’s huts at The Burlands, both available to book for just one night. Perfect when you need a quick escape without taking lots of time off work.

When you arrive, your private hot tub will already be HOT and ready to enjoy. No lighting it yourself. No waiting around. Just unpack, pour a drink and get straight in.

Each shepherd’s hut comes with:

• A comfortable double Murphy bed
• Fresh bed linen and fluffy towels
• Robes and slippers
• A private, covered hot tub
