Job opportunity for a Lettings Negotiator


Full-time, Permanent 37.5 hours a week

Coastal Lettings is an independent letting agency that manage a large number of properties in Barrow in Furness and we are looking for an experienced, upbeat and enthusiastic Lettings Negotiator to join the team at our busy Town Centre office

Job Description

Advising landlords of their legal obligations
Reviewing tenant application and discussing this with landlords
Accurately producing all tenancy paperwork
Registering deposits with a government backed deposit scheme
Keeping track of tenancies which are due to expire and dealing with tenancy renewals
Dealing with maintenance issues
Conducting periodic property inspections
Maintaining regular contact with tenants, landlords and contractors
Dealing with day-to-day general enquiries from customers both face to face and over the telephone
Mainly office based but you will be required to attend some appointments in and around the Barrow area
Skills Required

Experience in residential lettings
Strong customer service skills
Self-motivation
Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Strong organisation and efficiency skills
Car/Driving license
Schedule:

Monday to Friday 9-5
Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:

Competitive salary and uncapped bonus structure
Experience:

Lettings: 2 years (preferred)
Knowledge of the Barrow area
Licence/Certification:

Driving License (required)
Salary: negotiable based on experience
