THE WELL - Is well on the way to being dug out... 😆 When we bought the house it was only 10 bricks deep. Now look how far Jan and Seb have dug out. With Janet doing lots of work on the pully and emptying buckets too. It is full of mud, bread wrappers and bottles... see the collection we have pulled out already... 🍾🍾🍾

Ever (pronounced like for-ever not Eva) you are exactly 5 days old the day I posted this picture at 8.54am. I am so lucky to be your mummy and feel so blessed we finally got here. The only thing that would make this better is my mum and dad being here to meet you. Nanny Caroline and Grandpa Paul would have loved you so much. You were named after the most amazing lady. Who I know would have adored you. Lets make her proud baby girl. 🩷🎀

40 WEEKS - Today! We made it to our due date. If you had asked me back in July 2023 after our 1st miscarriage or even January 2024 after our 2nd if I thought we could get here. I would have said no, through absolute fear of what happened possibly happening again. But somehow together we made it baby girl. 🎀 Ready when you are...🩷

LANDING CEILING - Plastered to perfection by ... The lime king. 👑
Next up nursary ceiling and walls. Then landing / stairwell walls... V excited as not much else is happening at the house due to the pause for impending baby girl. 🎀

Also will be starting on all our upstairs interior wood work any day now... 👏🏻 Skirting, Architrives, door frames, window frames and shutters, paneling for landing... And finishing off our wardrobes.

So over the next few months there should be more progress to show PLUS a baby... 😆🤯

* Patiently waiting while im currently out of action and absolutely no use... except for being money bags to pay for things. 💷 and grow a child *

I HATE SANDING - Anyone else? 😂 Paint heat gun stripped a while back now. And then sanded back. Then used a liming brush. Then limed up. Then buffed off. 👏🏻 And thats another tick. ✔️ Just need seb to fit it now. (PHOTO: 06.08.24)

OLD AND NEW - Seb has designed such an amazing space for his parents. The old is being cared for beautifully. With the quirks and levels all remaining and his design extenuating the beauty of the original build. And the new modern extension is a wonderful addition. 🥰 It is not easy when you run your own business and renovate for a living day in day out... then renovate a grade 2 listed manor for yourself and your wife and pending child AND THEN project manage your parents renovation of the servants quarters and extension of that manor house too. He knows the ins and out and every detail and this would not be happening without him from design to build. Im very proud of what he is achieving. 🙌🏻 Just wish he wasnt perpetually stressed out. 😢 (PHOTO: 03.08.24)
