Lending a helping hand in Bishop’s Green

At Bewley Homes, we believe building new homes is about more than bricks and mortar – it’s about making a positive difference in the communities where we work.

That’s why two members of our aftercare team recently rolled up their sleeves and spent a day painting and decorating Bishop’s Green Village Hall, near Newbury, helping to give this important community hub a fresh look.

The project came about after the Bishop’s Green Community Association approached us for support. Used by local youth groups, residents and community organisations, the hall plays a vital role in bringing people together.

Chloe Willman, our Director of Business Operations, said: “We want to be more than just a developer building new homes. We want to become part of the communities in which we work and make a positive contribution wherever we can.”

A big thank you to our aftercare team for giving up their time and to the Bishop’s Green Community Association for the opportunity to get involved.
