A couple of weeks ago after working during the day for a client i decided to redecorate my daughters room because we had to move again, which now we have somewhere more permanent. I done this during the evenings, which decorators will tell you it's harder to paint at night without natural daylight. I also decided on the weekend before to remove the plastic facia boards that was stuck to the original skirting. When I seen the state of the skirting I decided to replace it and the architrave to match. My daughter wanted 2 different colours which she picked, instead of just doing a feature wall i thought i would get a bit creative, I think it looks good but must importantly my daughter loves it ❤️
I used my hidden skills to do the woodwork 😆 which was all done by hand, no electric saws. Also the woodwork was paint freehand, I thought I would mention that as all I see now a days is videos of decorators taping up the woodwork to get a straight line 😆
Well I think the room looks great and I hope you all enjoy the pics 📸

Another job completed, alot of work went into this room, stripped all the wallpaper, skimmed the room with skim & joint mix, the ceiling and cornice was painted white, the walls have been painted in Wimborne white (mixed by Johnstones) plus the woodwork was also Wimborne white but in eggshell.
Looks nice and fresh now with smooth walls

I now have availability from the 5th of January for 2 weeks, as a job has been pushed back till March for unforeseen circumstances.

A nice little transformation, a lot of prep went into this job as it had so many bad patch up jobs previously done on it, so majority of the walls had a quick skim over then all walls had a good sand down, all nice and smooth now, the natural wood staircase has been transformed into a nice fresh white. I even squeezed in doing the bathroom and WC while I was there to help out the client.
All nice and fresh now!

Sorry it's been a while since I've posted, I've been so busy!
Completed this one a while back. I stripped off all the wallpaper, first filled the worst area's, then skimmed all walls that needed it. Alot of prep when into this one, specially the cupboards, I think the outcome is great, while I was here, I freshened up the little entrance hall. I really do like the colour choices of the client, it really suits this property 👌
