Rengen House Hosts Winter Olympians Following Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
Rengen House was honoured to welcome double Olympic medallist Matt Weston following a prestigious Hall of Fame induction ceremony held at Bath Guildhall on Wednesday 20 May.
Matt, who trained at the University of Bath, and who secured two gold medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics, attended the glittering ceremony alongside fellow Olympians Marcus Wyatt and Tabby Stoecker.
Hosted by the University of Bath in partnership with Bath and North East Somerset Council, the event celebrated the extraordinary achievements of the three skeleton athletes, all of whom trained at the University using the UK’s only push-start track, following what was described as an “unprecedented Olympic cycle”.
As Principal Sponsors of Team Bath, Rengen House hosted an exclusive drinks reception for the British Bobsleigh & Skeleton Association (BBSA) and invited guests following the ceremony.
Matt and Marcus joined a distinguished group of attendees including Amy Williams, Winter Olympic gold medallist, and Jason Gardener, Olympic gold medallist, for an evening of celebration at Rengen House on Argyle Street.
Also in attendance were BSSA Chair Gareth Moore, alongside Rengen House owner Nicky Lewis, who was part of the senior management team led by Ged Roddy in the early 2000s, that first developed the vision for the skeleton training facilities.
Nicky welcomed the athletes, BSSA management, partners, and guests to Rengen House, where Matt and Marcus generously spent time with attendees, taking photographs and touring the venue.
Located in the heart of Bath, Rengen House continues to strengthen its position as a premium co-working, business, and events hub, increasingly connected to the city’s thriving sporting community and elite athlete network.
