What an impressive team, sponsored by Heeleys

We had an amazing afternoon at Batley Cricket Club yesterday and what fun!
All the mums from the girls team ( who won their league this season!) played the against the girls teams in a cricket match! Let me tell you it’s not as easy as they make it look! When that ball comes speeding towards you it’s so much faster than you think!
The mums team was amazing and we are humbled to be asked to play with them, the support they give their daughters is unmeasured!
We all laughed a lot, played the game and had an amazing afternoon! Thank you so much for inviting us for the afternoon!
Needless to say the girls won! But we did our very best!

If any ladies out there are interested in playing for the older ladies cricket team please contact the club!

Now my legs are recovering after all the running!
