We operate very differently to larger Letting Agents and here is why we do so:
1. We handle most Maintenance & Repairs in-house without calling on expensive subcontractors. We have a multi-trade team who can handle most repairs so rather than call out individual subcontractors we try and fix multiple issues in one visit without incurring multiple call out charges.
2. Before sending anyone to a property, we try and resolve the issue over the phone with the tenant. Often, we educate the tenant to fix things themselves. This saves an expensive call out but also means the tenant can repair the issue in future if it reoccurs.
3. We operate 24/7. We don’t rely on Contractors to manage our Out of Hours Emergencies. This allows us to keep complete control of costs. Some larger Agents only operate during working hours and rely on Emergency Contractors to deal with the rest. This just doesn’t work.
4. We continue to Invest in Property ourselves. While others are selling up because it is no longer profitable, we continue to buy. This proves that our model is working. We understand what it takes to operate a profitable property business.
