If you enjoy a spot of quiet pleasure fishing, then Lower Winsford Farm could be just the place for you.

Just look at our beautiful two-acre private lake, tucked away amongst the Devon countryside and exclusively for our guests to enjoy.

The lake is home to carp, including some lovely 20lb+ fish, along with perch, roach and rudd — and we’ve also got some tench coming soon as we continue to develop and improve the lake.

If you fancy spending a few peaceful hours by the water, it’s a wonderful place to switch off, cast a line and simply enjoy the surroundings. No busy banks, just the peace and quiet of your own private holiday fishing lake.

And if the rest of the family aren’t into fishing, there’s plenty for them to enjoy too — from meeting our animals and exploring the grounds to relaxing in your cottage and private hot tub.

New hay in the field, all wrapped up ready for the winter, and these lot worked as a team to open one up 🙄 Leonard just looked guilty, Tarka turned around and pretended it wasnt her. Florence just couldn't stop eating whilst baby Fizzy couldn't reach so waited for mum to drop hers 🤣

And that’s it… the final hot tub has been installed!

Garden House now has its very own large private hot tub, perfect for sinking into after a day exploring the countryside.

Our four-legged guests seem to love the lake just as much as we do!

Whether they’re investigating all the wonderful sights and smells of nature, bounding along beside the lily pads, exploring the paths around the water’s edge, or simply deciding that a dip is far too tempting to resist, there’s always an adventure to be had.

Our beautiful two-acre private lake is a firm favourite with guests – both two-legged and four-legged.
