This job was a challenge! 💪☀️🔥

The garden climbs the equivalent of three storeys, meaning a digger simply wasn’t an option - it was so steep even wheelbarrows would tip! So the boys went back to basics… buckets, buckets and more buckets! 😅

A million steps later 😂 we finally reached the top and created a new patio area to make the most of the space and views.

All completed through the extreme heat, which made an already tough job even harder - but we got there! 🙌

The customer will be seeding and planting the surrounding areas once we’re safely out of this drought. And after today’s lovely downpour, we can honestly say we’ve never been so happy to see rain! 🌧️😂

Groundworks completed at a school in Bedford 🚜

Our team excavated a trench through the school grounds to accommodate new ducting, followed by full reinstatement of the affected areas, including the grass and concrete pathway.

Everything left neat and tidy once works were complete 👌

We undertake all aspects of groundworks for schools, councils, commercial and domestic clients across Bedfordshire and surrounding areas.

Reality vs Instagram 🌿➡️

A new pathway leading to the lower patio has completely transformed this garden, creating a beautiful feature and improving the flow through the space.

Now we just need some much-needed rain to bring the lawn back to life. We can’t control the weather… but we can create the garden around it! ☔

When a customer asked us to install these trench sheets to create flowing, curved flower beds, we weren’t quite sure how they’d look.

Safe to say… we loved them. So much so, we came home and extended our own flower bed using the exact same idea! 🤎

The rusty finish of the trench sheets contrasts beautifully with the fresh black soil, and the curves soften the whole garden. We think they’re something a little different from the usual timber sleepers or brick edging.

It’s still very much a work in progress, with plenty more planting to add, but we can’t wait to watch it fill out over the next couple of years.

Sometimes our customers come up with ideas we’d never have thought of ourselves… and this was definitely one of them. 🌿

Would you choose curved borders like these, or are straight lines more your style? 👇

A completely collapsed foul drain had caused this patio to fail ❌ We excavated the affected area, repaired the drainage, reinstated the ground & rebuilt the patio to match the existing finish

Another problem solved & another happy customer👌

Proud to have attended today’s OPAL presentation at Shefford Lower School and to receive this lovely thank you from the children for supporting the school’s OPAL resources 💚

Supporting projects that encourage outdoor play, imagination and creativity for the children in our local community is something really important to us, especially knowing our son Lenny gets to enjoy it too 🌟

A huge thank you to the school staff and children for such a thoughtful card — we really appreciate it.
