4th Generation 🤝 5th Generation
💙 There’s something pretty special about this photo.
💙 Foster & Sons has been a family business since 1921, and more than 100 years later, the next generation is getting involved.
💙 I’m very proud to be the 4th generation of the Foster family to carry the business forward — and even prouder to have my son Josh, the 5th generation, spending time working alongside us and learning the ropes.
💙 Like the generations before him, he’s starting where it matters — getting stuck in, working alongside the lads, learning how the job is actually done and understanding the standards our family name has been built on.
💙 There’s no pressure on Josh to follow in anyone’s footsteps. He’ll choose his own path in life. But as his dad, seeing him wearing the Foster & Sons badge and becoming part of a business his family started over a century ago has obviously made me very proud.
💙 Businesses change. Vehicles change. The industry changes.
💙 But some things shouldn’t — hard work, looking after your customers, looking after your team and taking pride in the family name on the side of the truck.
