Culture Night Belfast returns for one night only, bringing together 200+ free, family-friendly and community-driven events across the city - from live music and performance to exhibitions, workshops, tours and pop-up events.

And this month’s recommendation is a little more personal…

📍 𝗕𝗘𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗘 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘: 𝗙𝗹𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁?

First thing worth knowing — Belfast has two airports, and they’re very different distances from the city centre! 👀

✈️ 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 - the handy one! Just around 5 miles from the city centre and usually a quick 15–20 minute journey in.

✈️ 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 - a little further out, but easy enough once you know your options.

Both have bus, taxi/Uber and car hire options to get you into Belfast.

Our tip? If you’re only visiting Belfast for a city break, I genuinely wouldn’t bother hiring a car. Airbnb Belfast properties are within easy walking distance of the city centre, and there are plenty of ways to get around once you’re here.

We’re kicking off a new monthly feature sharing the Belfast spots we genuinely recommend to our guests - the places we actually eat, drink and spend our own time.

First up: Where would you go for a pint?

Probably the easiest recommendation I’ll ever make: WHITES TAVERN 🍺

Part of what I love about White’s is that you can pick your vibe. There’s
👉🏽 The lively Beer Hall Whites Beerhall
👉🏽 The cosy Old Tavern Whites Tavern
👉🏽 White’s Store for the Guinness purists Whites Store
👉🏽 The semi-enclosed garden when you fancy being technically outdoors without fully committing to Belfast weather 😂 Whites Garden

Add in good bar food, live music, sports if you want it and a proper Belfast atmosphere; it’s one I recommend again and again.

📍 Ask your host verdict: If you only have time for one pint in Belfast, as a Guinness drinker, I’d make it this one.

And yes, I’m fully prepared to defend that statement! 🍻

Sorry but how is it June already!! 😲

We blinked... and somehow summer arrived! Well an Irish summer, less rain please .best ☀️

If you've noticed we've been a little quiet on here, it's because we've been busy behind the scenes hosting guests and keeping up with a very full booking calendar - our new friends left some lovely feedback 🥰

The summer rush is officially here though, and our diary from June to September is literally back to back as usual 🙌

We're looking forward to welcoming lots of new and returning guests to Belfast over the coming months ✨
