1. Storm Amy brought some dramatic clouds.
2-4. We enjoyed a great day out exploring Barter Books and Alnmouth beach, both just over an hours drive away from Brown Rigg.
5-6. Autumn berries. The birds have been busy stripping them off the bushes!
7. Fiona celebrated her 40th birthday by booking the entire guest block for her family and friends.🎈🎈🎈

1. The BaaFest mascot was put to bed for another year.
2. Butterflies and insects have been enjoying windfall apples.
3. We’ve welcomed lots of fishermen.
4 and 5. The unsettled weather has created some beautiful and dramatic skies.

From the 4-7th Sept 2025 Brown Rigg was transformed into Bellingham All Acoustic Music Festival (BAAFEST). Over 200 people enjoyed 4 days of live music and workshops across our site.

We had a great day out at yesterday`s Bellingham Show which is held in the field adjacent to Brown Rigg Lodges.

✨1 & 2. We’ve had some amazing clear night skies! The Summer is the best time to view the Milky Way galactic core from our location.
🚶‍♂️3 & 4. Spoilt for beautiful evening strolls just a few minutes away.
💃5, 6 & 7. A Scottish highland dance group celebrated their 10th Anniversary of staying at Brown Rigg with their own Oscars night.
