September shoutout for the Causeway ...

This is the first time I have walked onto Holy Island via the Causeway ... so lovely, geese flying above, curlews, oyster catchers, little egret catching some fish and a seal popping to check us all out.

Friday's post is about having a bit more space

When you arrive at the garden door we have a wide level access patio area, the kitchen and dining area is large enough to be wheelchair kitchen disco friendly 🕺🎶🦼🎶🕺and theres an upper patio space for summer outdoor dining too

Showers ...

We have 3 showers, a tiny ensuite in the master bedroom. A large stand alone shower in the family bathroom and a shower with adjustable height changing bench in the accessible wetroom.

The family bathroom has a small shower stool available and a non-slip mat in the loer bathroom cupboard.

Guests can request the Rifton HTS showerchair/commode which can be located over the toilet. A small charge is made for this chair which has helped us provide a wide range of accessories.

The wide shower stool is great in the wetroom enabling showering alongside the changing bench

We are sharing some of the little details over the next week ... starting with our ground floor bedroom.

We have a Bakare klearside profiling bed with high cot sides offering great visibility. The ceiling hoist directly links through to the wetroom and there's a wheelchair accessible, height adjustable table which can be used throughout the house.

Behind the scenes there's quite a lot of Thursday and Friday changeover activity.

This week's not so big news, is that the rosemary won the big herb contest 😆 and again, big thanks to Bean Genie Coffee House for their awesome take-aways and for sunshine in the Garden Room
