We're delighted to be launching Betchworth Beef in June!

Our customers will now be able to buy our sustainable, tasty beef direct from our Betchworth Village Shop & Cafe!

Our herd of suckler cows are reared in the fields of the Betchworth Estate and are fed purely on the grass that grows here.
Our cows mature slowly and naturally as they graze our pastures which is not only better for the environment, but also means our beef could not be more local, better reared or more delicious.

Reasons to buy local Betchworth Beef -
- Unlike beef that you buy in supermarkets, ours has been dry-aged for three weeks ensuring the maximum flavour and tenderness.
- Our herd are grass fed, nothing more and nothing less, so truely as nature intended.
- All our boxes will contain mixed cuts of beef, allowing you to enjoy our delicious product in multiple ways

Betchworth Post Office & Village Shop to be Expanded!

After 15 years of running the Betchworth Post Office & Village Shop, Debbie Parmenter is sadly planning to retire at the end of March. The Betchworth Estate, however, is committed to continue Debbie’s hard work and enthusiasm to ensure that both the Post Office and shop are preserved and continue to thrive.

The Post Office provides a hugely important service for the village and its surrounding area, and the Betchworth Estate is keen that it continues to play a major role in Betchworth’s village life.

Over the coming weeks, some renovation works will be taking place and the shop is being extended to include a small café for – “eat in” or “take away” – coffee, tea, drinks and cake. The Post Office and shop will stay open as much as possible during this period to minimise any inconvenience, but you may find the shop’s display a little more concentrated and its stock temporarily reduced. Everyone will be working hard to limit any disruption.

The Betchworth Estate is currently in the process of recruiting a worthy successor to Debbie and hopefully will be able to introduce you to a new manager soon.

There will be an opportunity to raise a glass to Debbie & Alan’s health and to wish them well in retirement on Thursday 26th March at The Dolphin from 19.00 – 21.00.

Thank you very much for your patience whilst the renovation works are taking place and we very much look forward to seeing you in the Post Office & Village Shop, as well as at Debbie and Alan’s party!
