Goodlord removed incorrect website content after wrongly stating that the new mandatory tenant information sheet replaces the How To Rent Guide. The sheet applies only to existing tenants moving to assured periodic tenancies, while the How To Rent Guide has been withdrawn without replacement

Property technology firm Goodlord has removed content from its website after publishing inaccurate guidance on the mandatory tenant information sheet required under the Renters' Rights Act. The error was identified by a London-based letting agent ahead of the 31st May deadline.

Can a neighbour really make you remove a garden composter just because they’re worried it might cause problems in the future? Composting is a legal and widely supported use of garden space, so concerns without evidence usually don’t hold up

Our new neighbour has demanded we remove our brick-built compost heaps from the bottom of our garden. We've not had any complaints in the 40 years we've been here.

The average home seller in Britain now takes 216 days to complete a move, the longest on record. Finding a buyer takes 62 days, with an additional 154 days from offer acceptance to moving in. Flats experience the longest delays at 169 days, often due to property searches or chain issues

Delays can be caused by problems with the property or complicated chains, but Rightmove said over-worked lawyers were also holding things up.
