My job doesn’t stop when I find a site. That’s where the real work begins.
Bertie and I were back on site, meeting with a landscaper to gather detailed costings for the external works.
Why?
Because I do more than just source the land.
I invest my time heavily into understanding every aspect of a site—from gathering specialist quotations, challenging assumptions and negotiating costs to speaking directly with contractors and local professionals.
Every conversation, every quote and every site visit helps me build a stronger, more accurate appraisal that I can stress-test from every angle, giving developers the confidence to make informed decisions.
For me, relationships are one of the most valuable parts of the process and one of the biggest parts of my job that I love.
Every landowner, agent, landscaper, surveyor, ecologist, architect and contractor I meet becomes another trusted connection. Not only does each relationship deepen my understanding of the development process, but it also creates a network of trusted professionals that I can introduce to developers and investors should they need specialist expertise as the project progresses.
Because a great deal isn’t built by one person.
It’s built by bringing the right people together.
A developer needs confidence that the numbers stack up.
A landowner deserves confidence they’re achieving fair value.
