Good Afternoon
I wanted to share some bittersweet news with you personally—Candour Property has today been acquired by my friend Anna and her wonderful team at Pontings Residential Limited today. On the dawn of my 50th year at life and my 30th year in the industry (gosh that makes me feel so old) I know property is no longer my passion and it’s time to make a change.
With so much on the horizon for the lettings industry it is only right that I give you the best team to support you through it and I know that is no longer me. I have chosen Pontings to take over the reins simply because they share my ethos and ethics and will look after you in the same way (in fact way better) than I have. Anna and I go back a long way and some of you will have worked with Vicky before.
Pontings are a small independent owned and run company who believe in Lettings just being about doing a good and honest job. So, nothing will change if anything it will only improve. I will be in the background to support the team through the transition until the end of the year, should it be needed. Although I am more than confident it won’t be. We have done a thorough handover and you are in very capable hands. Over the next week or so Anna and Vicky will reach out to you individually and introduce themselves and I know you will soon be as confident as I am that this was the right choice.
From day one, you’ve all been so much more than just landlords and I will be forever grateful for the support you showed me by choosing me to look after your properties. It certainly hasn’t been an easy decision but one that I know is the best for us all.
