This has absolutely made my day!

It's being saved ❤️ so many happy memories on this old thing

The famous and long-standing rocking horse in Lake Meadows’ play area will soon have a new home in the park 🙌

It isn’t possible to keep it as a play feature due to safety concerns, as well as the difficulty and expense of sourcing replacement parts for such an old piece of equipment.

However, it’s being kept in storage temporarily before it will soon return to the park as a piece of public art 👀🎨
