Over the past 7 years we have personally got to know a couple of Liverpool Football Club legends, Phil Neal and Ian Callaghan, aside from their footballing achievements they are just amazing fellas to be around and chat to.
We have spent countless hours sharing thoughts on the current Liverpool team but more importantly hearing their amazing stories about playing at the absolute highest level for Liverpool Football Club. These guys created the foundations for our club, they put us on the map and allowed us to use the terms “European Royalty” and without their achievements our wall of Champions would look a lot less impressive.
So as fans we decided to do something to show them how much them mean to us, today we presented Ian and Phil with a mural right next to Anfield Stadium, a place where they will always be remembered for their unbelievable achievements as TRUE Liverpool legends.
Was a privilege to spend time with them and their families today, thanks to legend Alan Kennedy, LFC’s Bill Bygroves , Jen Dargan and MARC SILVER and the legends at MurWalls, the second mural with these guys amazing work again.
Ian Callahan has the highest number of appearances for Liverpool bar nobody, listen to this for a record, no shorter than 857 appearances after his debut for Bill Shankly 1 World Cup in 1966, 2 x European Cups, 5, English Championships 2x UEFA Cups, 2 x FA Cups and 6 x Super Cups.
Phil Neal is the most decorated Liverpool player ever he’s has experienced some of Liverpool’s most memorable nights in history, he has won 4 x European Cups, 8 League Championships, 1, UEFA Cup, , 4 x League Cups and 5 x Super Cups.
