How Much Difference Can Good Preparation Make?
This property had recently become vacant, and before bringing it back to the rental market we worked with our landlord to complete a light cosmetic refurbishment as part of our Fully Managed Property Management service.
The work included:
✔ Fresh redecoration throughout
✔ Brand new carpets
✔ A full pre-market inspection and snagging process
Once everything was complete, we launched the property to the market.
It was successfully let within 7 days.
Every property is different, and there's never a guarantee of how quickly a tenant will be found. However, presenting a property to a high standard from day one gives landlords the best opportunity to attract strong applicants and minimise costly void periods.
