A call out today on Elizabeth Road, Old Oscott 🏠 🧱

My customer has been suffering with some damp & draft issues due to faulty & failed mortar allowing rainfall to make its way through to the property 🥶 💦

I have repointed the areas where damp was coming through, I have used a hybrid mix with NHL 3.5 lime in the mortar mix to allow breathability & to not trap moisture in the area ☔️ 🏠 🧱

Repointing job for my customer on Jockey Road, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham 🏠 🧱

My customers wall is showing signs of dampness, caused by empty & deteriorated mortar joints around the lead flashing. These gaps were allowing rainwater to pe*****te behind the flashing and into the wall, resulting in the visible damp staining 🥶 💦

I repointed the lead flashing back up to get this property watertight & ready for the colder & wetter seasons ahead , preventing bigger & more expensive projects later down the line ☔️ 🏠 🧱

Repointing work for my customer in Chelmsley Wood, Birmingham 🏠 🧱

The brickwork under my customers damp course was due some attention as there was no mortar in sections around the back of the property ⚠️

I raked out the areas & cleaned the joints out to remove any excess & dust 🧼 💦

I repointed the brickwork back up with a strong mortar mix to make the brickwork under the damp course weather proof & watertight in places where there is no drainage for water to travel ☔️ 🏠 🧱

I also attended to some cracks in my customers brickwork , raking out the affected areas , installing steel helical bars & repointing the joints back up to restrengthen the brickwork 🔨 🧱

Repointing Job in NHL 3.5 Lime Mortar for my customer in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield 🏠 🧱

My customers brickwork on the back of the property needed some attention due to the mortar being aged & weather damaged, with recent signs of damp issues ⚠️ 🥶

I raked out all the old mortar & gave the brickwork a clean down making sure to remove any excess dust & bits of mortar in the joints 🧼 💦

I repointed the brickwork back up with a NHL 3.5 Lime Mortar mix as this is a older property & would have been built using Lime Mortar, using Lime will give the brickwork the ability to breathe & not trap moisture in the bricks, making my customers property watertight & restored to its history & heritage 🧱🍋‍🟩☔️🏠

My customer got in touch with concerns about mortar falling out of place in sections around the front of their property 🧐👀

I raked out all the old mortar & repointed the front of the house in the lovely Fox Cragg Lime Mortar, preventing any damp issues & giving the front of the property a lovely new fresh look 👀⚪️ 🏠 🧱

Repointing work for my customer in Streetly, Sutton Coldfield 🏠 🧱

My customer has been suffering with damp issues since the heavier spell of rain & was worried about going in to the colder & wetter seasons without it being resolved ⚠️🥶💦

I identified where the damp would be coming from and it was clear there was missing mortar joints where water & rainfall would of been making its way through the property. I raked out the effected area before cleaning the joints out removing any excess, before repointing the brickwork back up to make the property watertight & weather resistant 💪🏼 ☔️ 🏠 🧱
