We specialise in protecting homes from cold and damp. Our services include damp proofing, insulation, void property maintenance, and fitting bathrooms and kitchens. Based in Kings Norton, we serve Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our team and are currently looking for:
🔧 Multi-Trade Voids Installer
🛁 Wet Room / Bathroom Fitter

What we’re looking for:
✅ A self-starter who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service
✅ Proven experience in kitchen/bathroom fitting, with skills in basic carpentry and plumbing
✅ Skills such as painting, plastering, plaster patching, tiling, and door hanging are a bonus
✅ Clean driving licence is essential
✅ Highly organised and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
✅ CSCS card desirable (but not essential)

Tragic! Can you beleive this year's Green Homes Grant cost the taxpayer £50m to administer for the six months that it ran for. Surely that money could have gone to better use reducing our carbon footprint.

Six Star Group have historically specialised in damp-proofing and insulation services. However, we now have a new contract giving us the opportunity to expand our services to cover more trades. Working for a large contractor, we are refurbishing void properties mainly in the Stratford-upon-Avon, Coventry and Birmingham areas.

We have an immediate need for experienced fitters covering multiple trades – namely bathroom/kitchen work, basic carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, amongst others. The work is varied and requires a broad skillset. We’re looking for a reliable person with an excellent attention to detail and great customer service skills. We’d like someone with a ‘can-do’ attitude to work with our great team

Key responsibilities include:

· A self-starter who’s passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

· Kitchen/Bathroom fitting and basic carpentry is essential

· Tiling experience needed

· Basic carpentry experience is essential

· Basic plumbing useful

· Clean driving licence is essential

A bit about you:

· Able to work autonomously without supervision

· Passionate about delivering an excellent customer experience

· Experience working with social housing providers or void projects

· Great communication skills when dealing with customers

· You have a very good attention for detail

· Must be incredibly organised and able to handle pressure of deadlines

Here’s the deal:

· £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience

· Van and fuel card provided

· PPE and tools provided

· Pension
