Creating homes that bring generations together

Behind this beautifully restored listed garage building sits something truly special - a carefully designed annexe created for modern generational living.

The original listed structure has been carefully retained, restored and brought back to life, whilst a contemporary new addition has been sensitively introduced behind it to create a completely separate living space for family.

This project was never simply about adding space. It was about creating independence, connection and flexibility whilst respecting the history, character and constraints that come with working alongside heritage buildings.

From the carefully considered glass link connecting old and new, to the coordination of materials, proportions and detailing throughout, every decision was made to ensure this addition felt intentional rather than simply added on.

Inside these walls sits a beautifully designed living space complete with bespoke kitchen areas, luxurious bedroom accommodation, ensuite spaces, media features and a private balcony retreat.

Projects like this remind us that great design isn’t only about creating beautiful spaces — it’s about creating better ways to live.

Just in time for the bank holiday weekend…

We’re absolutely delighted to be handing this beautiful home back to our clients after a major renovation in the heart of the Four Oaks Estate.

It has been a privilege to be part of the journey, and we hope the family have the most wonderful weekend settling back in, enjoying their dream home, and making the most of this gorgeous sunshine.

A family bathroom designed to feel warm, refined, and effortlessly modern.

Delivered as part of our work at this Bournville Village Trust property, this space balances everyday practicality with a clean, high-end finish, creating an environment that feels calm, functional, and considered.

The layout makes the most of the architecture, with the bath positioned neatly beneath the eaves, turning what could have been an awkward space into a feature. The bathing and showering areas are subtly defined, allowing the room to function beautifully without feeling broken up.

A sleek, floating vanity unit brings a sense of lightness to the space, paired with generous integrated storage to keep everything clean and uncluttered. The detailing remains consistent throughout, with black brassware and accents adding contrast and tying in seamlessly with the overall design language.

The bath is finished end-to-end within a tiled surround, with integrated fittings and controls, creating a streamlined, architectural feel rather than a standard add-on.

Lighting has been carefully layered to enhance both function and atmosphere, with soft, warm tones reflecting off the neutral palette to create a space that feels relaxed at any time of day.

Works are nearing completion on our latest project in the prestigious Four Oaks Estate.

What began as a carefully phased strip and rebuild is now coming together as a complete, unified roof - with each section seamlessly tying into the next. The structure is fully formed, and we’re now focused on the finer detailing and finishing touches.

It’s at this stage where the quality of the process really shows - clean lines, consistent finishes, and a roof that feels balanced across the entire property.

This project at Bournville Village Trust is a true example of how thoughtful design and construction can completely transform the way a home is lived in.

What began as a dated, disconnected property has been reimagined into a modern-day lifestyle home, through a carefully executed double-storey extension, full internal renovation, and loft conversion.

Working within the strict architectural guidelines and approvals of Bournville Village Trust, the challenge was clear…

elevate the home without losing its identity.

The result is a rear elevation that feels completely natural, as though it has always belonged.

Balanced proportions, sympathetic materials, and considered detailing ensure the new blends seamlessly with the old, respecting both the property and its surroundings.
