🌹 A summer of lovely guests… 🌹

We’ve had so many wonderful guests staying with us this summer, and one of the greatest pleasures of having our holiday cottage is hearing just how much they’ve enjoyed their time here.

We especially love hearing about their adventures, the sights they’ve enjoyed and the little highlights from their days out exploring.

This week, our lovely sightseeing couple made a comment we’ve heard from guests many times before: the cottage is in such a fantastic part of the country, with so many wonderful things to see and do within half an hour’s drive.

Hearing about some of their trips out this morning was a delight. And, before heading home, they called in to collect some of our farm-reared beef and lamb to take with them, a lovely reminder that a stay here can be about discovering the local area, enjoying the countryside, and taking a little taste of it home too. 🐑🐄🌿

And, of course, there’s nothing quite like coming home to the cottage and enjoying a quiet moment in the garden… 🌹

Look at our sweet little chicks here 🐥💛

Three of our little chicks decided to make a cheeky escape, but our fabulous guests this week came to the rescue and managed to get them all safely back! Much appreciated by us — and their hen too 😊🐔

You’ll find all of our games stored in the dining room dresser, ready whenever you are.
