Happy 10 years and counting to Blackpool Housing Company! 🥳

BHC, has marked 10 years of helping people into better homes – supporting 1,800+ people to date.

We set up the company to tackle subpar properties. We didn’t want our residents trapped living in poor rented housing or moving from one temporary flat or bedsit to another. We want brighter futures for everyone.

So, BHC has been buying old or empty buildings and redeveloping them to high standards. Our tenants enjoy quality homes that are safe and comfy.

One of the biggest projects was turning two old hotels—the Malibu and the Astoria—into 20 modern apartments. Now they’re great places to live. We’ve invested £63million all in – creating 772 homes, let through My Blackpool Home.

The company also helped manage and deliver 440 new homes in Queens Park, Foxhall Village, and Grange Park.
