Cost of living concerns are affecting people’s lives and many of you may be struggling to make ends meet.

Here’s a few local organisations that are offering help and support with food:

Holy Cross Church, Central Drive, provide free emergency food, hot meals and take away food on Saturdays from 4.30pm-6pm

Claremont First Step Community Centre, Dickson Road, offers help with food and other sessions from Monday-Friday.

There is a free school meal scheme available to Blackpool primary school children, check eligibility ⇢ www.blackpool.gov.uk/FSM

The Household Support Fund helps vulnerable Blackpool residents who are struggling with rising living costs.

If your application is successful, funds will be paid directly to your energy provider and will appear as a credit on your bill or pre-payment meter.

The fund is available until 31 March 2023 (subject to funding availability).
