Huge thanks to the construction industry's CRASH Charity, and its corporate patrons, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd and Dulux Decorator Centre, for transforming our community home.

Residents now have a wall separating the gym from the dining room, a freshly decorated lounge and dining space, and new ceilings in the lounge, stairs and lobby at our homelessness charity.

Tony Stephenson, our Chief Executive Officer, said: “We are really grateful to CRASH, VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd and Dulux Decorator Centre for making these improvements. These changes at our community home will help residents boost their health and wellbeing, relax and have dinner in a refreshed environment.”

In 2024 CRASH and its corporate patron Bauder Flat Roofs helped us fix our roof, which led to this transformation our the communal spaces to create a more welcoming environment for our residents.

Homemade cakes are freshly baked from our ovens at our charity café 😋

We've lots of different flavours at Emmaus Bolton. Come for a pit stop while you're browsing our charity shops for a slice, a light bite and a brew.

All proceeds support our stable home and tailored support for people overcoming homelessness.

We're very excited to be working with BTEC students on their production of an Emmaus Bolton event at Bolton College 📅

The second year learners are taking pre-loved outfits on a runway, demonstrating upcycling tote bags with materials from our Scrap Store and unveiling one of the wooden benches we make on site.

The marketing students have designed their own signage with a QR code leading to stories from people overcoming homelessness with our stable home and support.

Our CEO Tony is pictured visiting Bolton College to feed back on students' ideas.

Thank you to the students, lecturer Rebecca Keeling and Bolton College for planning this fantastic day of events.

When you donate your unwanted items to charity Emmaus Bolton, you are empowering people to overcome homelessness.

People have the foundation of a home here and individualised support to progress.
