UK Interest Rates Held at 4.5% – What Does This Mean for You?

The Bank of England has announced that the base interest rate will remain at 4.5% – but what does that actually mean for homeowners and buyers?

✅ If you’re on a fixed-rate mortgage – No immediate change for you! But if your deal is ending soon, now’s the time to explore your options.
💳 If you have a variable or tracker mortgage – Your repayments stay the same (for now). Future cuts are expected but will happen gradually.
💷 Thinking about remortgaging? – Lenders may adjust their rates, so now is a good time to review your options.
🏡 First-time buyer? – With inflation still a factor, affordability remains key. There are still good deals out there if you know where to look!
