Building your own home is one of the most exciting, rewarding and fulfilling things you can do. Many aspire to have a space created for their needs and desires, but few take the plunge into a self-build project, with uncertainty around the process and a nervousness around complexity, lack of knowledge, trust, time and cost turning prospective self-builders, to purchase existing homes.
I set up Dreams Self-Build on the back of completing my own successful project and understanding first hand the challenges, yet rewards it brought. My experience through that process and prior knowledge of construction led me to want to support others in realising their ideas and ambitions for a home that they would love and enjoy, for them and their family. With ever increasing working from home patterns and a market in high demand, having a space that matches your needs has never been so important.
You can of course undertake a self-build by yourself and it can be perfectly successful. My experience comes in to take away the time and stress of undertaking this alone, whilst also using my knowledge to ensure your project runs smoothly, often saving cost and delivering a better outcome.
My services are tailored to your needs, with as little or as much involvement as you need, including scoping a project, supporting with design, engaging with service providers, dealing with local councils and building regulations, recommending trusted tradesmen, packaging work and putting work out to tender, managing contractors, and more.
The success of your project is my priority and you have my commitment that I will do everything I can to make that happen, whether that be delivering to your specifications, keeping costs to a minimum or giving you peace of mind throughout.
