Mayor of Taunton, Cllr Sue Lees, was "highly impressed" as she toured Quantock House, one of AHH's latest Platinum Skies retirement living communities in Taunton. She even expressed that she wanted to move in!

"Every single detail has been thought of, it is just wonderful. There is absolutely no comparison as to what was here before."

The Mayor also highlighted the positive impact that the new development would have on the local community, including increased job opportunities, boosted local spending, and new possibilities for local organisations.

"If every single person goes into the community, that's 89 more customers for our local shops. It's going to do wonders for our town to have this many new people living in our community."

Meet Jill 👋 One of our lovely homeowners who recently joined our Salisbury community.

Homeowners across our affordable retirement living communities had a wonderful afternoon raising awareness for Breast Cancer Now as part of the charity's campaign.

The homeowner's pink outfits were on point, and the matching pink cakes were simply delicious, but most importantly, they were able to come together to raise critical awareness and funds for a fantastic charity 🎀💖

Bringing people together and providing a welcoming and inclusive environment is fundamental in our operation to eliminate social isolation and loneliness among older adults. Our Community Managers arrange, on average, 92 activities per month and run a buddy scheme to ensure no one goes alone.

As we age, we need more support and care. One of the ways we empower our elderly is by providing them with educational opportunities that allow them to learn new skills and keep their minds active.

Our over 55s communities offer programs catering to their needs, including financial and fraud awareness, wellness, and technology classes. Often, Community Managers identify and utilise homeowners' skills to educate others.
