Finished this kitchen in Northbourne, Dorset recently.
Dark timber fronts, solid laminate marble-effect worktops and splash back, fitted hob and extractor, tall oven housing, all installed to a clean, practical layout.
The client wanted the look without the full custom price. So she bought flat-pack units, assembled them herself, and we took it from there: scribing, fitting, worktops, splash back, appliances and finishing.
This is a simple way to stay in control of cost while still getting a professional result. You get hands-on experience with the carcasses; we handle the parts that need tools, accuracy and a tight finish.
If you’re planning a kitchen and the budget is tight, this mix of self-assembly plus professional fitting is often the most realistic route.

Two years ago we refurbished this home. Now the same client has asked us back, this time for eco-cladding.
That’s the best testimonial there is: repeat business.
Why eco-cladding? It’s made from reclaimed wood fibres and recycled plastic, so waste gets a second life. You get the look of timber without the oiling, staining, rotting or fading. Clean it now and then. That’s the maintenance.
Same house. Same team. A new finish that should still look this good years from now.

📸 It’s not all pretty pictures… and this week’s jobs are the perfect example.

A lot of what we do is “invisible” once it’s backfilled and finished, but it’s absolutely essential to everything that goes on above ground.
Recently we’ve:
💦 Carried out a repair to a burst water main, something we’re seeing more often as older iron pipework starts to fail. Depending on the condition, we can locate and repair the leak, or replace the water main entirely.
💦 Helped a popular café in Wimborne where corroded pipework had caused issues. Due to the location and difficulties replacing the existing line, we recommended cutting it off and installing a new main into the building. We prepared the incoming feed and internal pipework ready for the local water authority to connect. All of this whilst keeping disruption to a minimum during the busy summer season.
🌟 Top tip, if you’re renovating your driveway and excavation is already taking place, it can be the ideal time to replace your water main too. If you need advice or you’ve got concerns about older pipework, just drop us a message.

Just finished this lovely job at a bungalow in Poole. Client was on a tight budget, so we used leftover slabs from a previous project and decorative stone in places. That way we could still deliver a fresh, modern garden that’s easy to maintain as time goes on, exactly what they needed.
All the porcelain paving, decorative stone and aggregate came from our friends at 🌟 Dorset Soils and Aggregates 🌟 .

Here are some before & afters. Really pleased with how it’s turned out for them.
