First of the season
Rotten timber repairs carried out on a 17c cottage to preserve the existing timbers. Repairing some repairs that were badly carried out 20+ years ago and continued deteriorating. Always remove rotten wood back to sound hardwood and ensure low moisture before fixing.
RepairCare resins are approved by Historic England and conservationists as they bind to the timbers, but flex with the movement of the wood.

Here’s a few photos of a recent floor sanding job I’ve completed. 3 rooms stripped back to orginal timbers whilst keeping the character of the orginal flooring (knocks/dents/woodwork trails).
Industrial floor sander to skim the top off, then handheld rotary sanders with dust extraction to minimise mess. Finally 3 coats of Liberon flooring varnish to preserve the surface.
