220sqm of turf laid on this job in Adel, along with a fence reduction from 1.8m to 0.9m. Ground was prepped and levelled with 20 tons of double screen compost, before rolling out fresh Lincolnshire turf, ensuring seems were properly knitted together. Thoroughly enjoyed this one, physically and mentally challenging in the weather and with the clay ground.

Japanese knotw**d treatment from £50; noticable results within two weeks.

After a single treatment, this knotw**d is already showing signs of dying back, these photos are taken 10 days apart at an old stone quarry.

Without treatment we could expect this particular plant to grow up-to 40cm. Instead, there has been minimal growth and significant wilting.

DANDELIONS MAKE YOU WET THE BED!

The idea that picking or playing with dandelions makes you wet the bed is a common folk belief, but it is not supported by scientific evidence. Dandelions are known to have diuretic properties, meaning they can increase urine production, but this effect is not strong enough to cause bedwetting.

Picking dandelion heads do however help to prevent their spread, and is good exercise.

Spending 5 minutes picking the heads, builds leg and back strength, improves cardiovascular health and balance, not the mention the mental health benefits of exercise and the pleasure of looking at a nice lawn.

Removing the flowers before they go to seed stops the formation of new seeds, thus reducing the number of seedlings that will develop.
