We are looking at selling our pool table. It is in excellent condition and has been well looked after. This is a large heavy table that would need to be disassembled for removal and is collection only. We are looking for a donation towards residents social fund. The amount to be negotiated, reasonable amounts only.

Our Extra Care Living scheme in Thackley, Bradford is awaiting a friendly, talented hairdresser to take over a beautifully furnished hair salon, which is open to both residents and the public. 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️
This opportunity at Elm Tree Court is ideal for a stylist wanting to set up on their own or as an addition to existing mobile hair dressing services. At elm tree court we have numerous residents however the hairdresser must be able to gain business from the public as trade from within the scheme can be minimal.
Initial six months are rent free, but hairdresser will need to pay their water and heating which is £120 a month. Hairdresser will also need to pay for their own electricity.

This year Elm Tree court celebrated its 10 year anniversary. We celebrated with this with a party for the residents with a buffet.

We all had a wonderful time celebrating together with an unusual theme of 'doubles'. All the carers on duty, together with the Management Team made a fantastic effort dressing up for the occasion.

We had the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter, and the Cheshire Cat, Thing One and Two, Kevin and Perry from the Harry Enfield series, the Mario Brothers, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and last but not least, Shrek and Princess Fiona.

I’m sure it was a lovely surprise for many of the residents getting greeted on their care calls by all the wonderful characters and seeing them around the building.
And a big thank you to Ashleigh Prep Kitchen for putting on a lovely spread for us all, and to Samantha Clarkson for making such a beautiful cake containing wonderful pictures of Residents past and present.

On the day we were also joined by our Gardeners who helped us celebrate the day whilst making our gardens so beautiful. Garden Maintenance

As we begin a new year, its a perfect time to pause and reflect on what a year 2024 has been. At Elm tree court we are surrounded by amazing residents, staff and workers. We have had our wonderful gardeners Harris Garden Maintenance working hard to make our gardens beautiful and keep our grounds accessible during this wintery period ( and made the residents smile with their Christmas outfits). We also received a wonderful nutcracker from Beechcliffe school.

This year we have enjoyed trips to Cleveleys, we celebrated Pride, our 60th celebrations at Housing 21 and breast cancer awareness month and any other things.

We hope 2025 brings us as much joy as 2024.
