Meet beautiful Storm, a reactive German Shepherd living his best life in Scentral Bark! 🐾

His hooman was a little nervous about bringing him, and that's completely understandable. It's hard to explain our set-up unless you've been, but Storm has been super chill, and his hoomans have been soaking up the peace, tranquillity and pure joy and freedom of Scentral Bark. 🌳

If you have a reactive doggo and would love to come but feel anxious, please pick up the phone or message us to talk it through, just as Storm's lovely hoomans did. Look at that beautiful face - Wouldn't it be a shame if he’d missed out?! 💛

🐾 THE ADVENTURES OF ALICE, GUNNER & POPPY 🐾

Our esteemed furry guests kindly submitted their official photographic account of a pretty epic doggy holibob… 😍😂

It appears their stay consisted mainly of:

🐾 Exploring miles and miles of Brechfa Forest
💦 Splashing, paddling and generally getting VERY wet
🌲 Sniffing absolutely EVERYTHING
🐾 Getting suitably muddy
🌅 Taking in some rather spectacular views
❤️ Spending quality time with their hoomans
😴 And finally… collapsing in a heap after another exhausting day of adventures!

Looking at these photos, we think Alice, Gunner & Poppy understood the Brechfa Forest Barns assignment perfectly. 😂🙌🏻

Because THIS is what a doggy holiday here is all about. Forest trails from the doorstep, streams to splash through, mud to stick your nose in and endless adventures to be had… before heading home for a well-earned snooze. 🥰🐾

No wonder the humans sometimes complain that the dogs enjoy their holiday more than they do! 😂

This is Indie, a recent Bike Shed guest, rating her day out a solid 10/10. Big sky, miles of sand, a shipwreck to investigate... and whatever mysterious beach snack she's just found, we're choosing not to ask 🙈

Maggie, meanwhile, had the right idea. Why walk when you can ride first class in a backpack, taking in the views while someone else does all the work? 🎒👑 life goals 🤭

Beautiful Olive, Alex and Mabel — along with their little hooman brother Rupert — making VERY good use of Scentral Bark! 😂🐾

Rolling in the grass ✔️
Charging around like lunatics ✔️
Climbing on the tyres ✔️
Making new friends ✔️
Hoomans getting in on the action ✔️
Going home absolutely shattered ✔️😂

This is exactly what our private dog park is all about. A safe, secure space where your dogs can run, sniff, explore, play and generally be their gloriously daft selves. ❤️

And because this is Brechfa Forest Barns, the holiday isn’t just for the humans. In fact, we’re never entirely sure the humans are the main guests… 🤔😂🐶
