🤎 Returning to the Heart

A Cacao Ceremony, Despacho & Optional Hapé

I’d love to invite you to join me for an evening of connection, intention and ceremony in a safe, welcoming and heart-centred space.

We’ll begin by sharing Ceremonial Cacao, a beautiful heart-opening plant ally that gently supports us in slowing down, becoming present, and connecting more deeply with ourselves. Unlike drinking chocolate, ceremonial cacao isn’t psychedelic. Instead, it encourages a sense of calm, clarity and openness as we journey through guided meditation and intention setting together.

Together, we’ll then create a Despacho, a sacred prayer offering that originates from the Peruvian Andes. We’ll begin by creating a k’intu, a bundle of three leaves that we infuse with our prayers, gratitude and intentions before placing them into the despacho.

Using flowers, herbs, seeds, sweets and other symbolic gifts, we’ll each add our own heartfelt offerings, weaving together a collective prayer. Once complete, the Despacho will be returned to the Earth as an act of gratitude, reciprocity and trust, honouring our connection with Pachamama (Mother Earth) and all of life.

For those who feel called, there will also be the opportunity to receive Hapé (Rapé). Hapé is a traditional Amazonian sacred plant medicine that has been used by Indigenous communities for generations to support grounding, presence and mental clarity. This offering is completely optional, and I’ll explain everything beforehand so you can make an informed choice about whether it feels right for you.

Whether this is your first ceremony or you’ve experienced these practices before, you’re so welcome. You don’t need any previous experience, just come exactly as you are with an open heart.

People often think strength is something you’re born with.

It isn’t.

Strength is built.

Slowly.

Painfully.

In the moments nobody sees.

The nights you cried yourself to sleep and still got up the next morning.

The times you wanted to give up but didn’t.

The betrayals that changed you.

The losses that humbled you.

The endings that forced you to begin again.

What people call strength is often just survival that lasted long enough to become wisdom.

They see the woman you’ve become.

They don’t see the price she paid to become her.

The truth is, I wasn’t built by success.

I wasn’t built by certainty.

I wasn’t built by easy seasons.

I was built by every moment I thought I wouldn’t make it through…

and somehow did.

That is the strange gift hidden inside survival.

One day you look in the mirror and realise the woman staring back at you was forged by everything that tried to break her.

This Summer Solstice we're gathering in the Shropshire countryside, 48 hours of ceremony, deep rest, and coming home to yourself.
This isn't a wellness weekend of endless activities and self-improvement checklists. It's something quieter. Deeper.

Meet us.
Me and Deb@empoweringcircle Two women who took completely different roads to the same place — the collapse, the forgetting, and the slow, real work of remembering who we actually are.
This is the first time you’re hearing both of us together. Telling you what’s going to happen on July 4th.
We open with cacao — Deb leads. A heart-opening ceremony to soften you out of the day you arrived in, into the day you came for. Then a sharing circle — not introductions. The real question: who do you think you are?
From there I take you under. Group hypnotherapy. The journey beneath the roles, the stories, the performances — back to meet yourself before the world had opinions about who you should be.
Journalling. A nourishing lunch. Then NLP — working with what surfaced. Releasing what’s ready to go.
Deb leads the afternoon. Performance and roles. The lifetime of playing a part — what it protected you from, what it cost you, what it feels like to put it down.
And then — blindfolds on. Music. Ecstatic dance. Come and free yourself when no one is watching.
We close at the fire. One word each. Burn what you no longer need.
That’s the day.
