The hut faces Brightlingsea estuary which is tidal so please check tide times if you are hoping to swim / crab or use the water. There are public toilets located near by in the public car park near Batemans tower CO7 0HH. There is free parking available on Promenade Way with limited availability or pay to park at -

The hut is equipped with table, chairs, cutlery, beakers and wine glasses. Fresh drinking water is available from a tap behind the hut, jugs are provided to collect the water in. The hut has a small gas stove and kettle for boiling water for hot drinks and washing up. The hut has a washing up bowl, draining tray and bin, washing up liquid is provided. Please remove your rubbish at the end of use. There are a small collection of buckets, spades and crabbing nets in the hut. The hut has a sun parasol and base but please use with caution in windy conditions as it can easily topple over.
