PROJECT UPDATE 👷‍♂️ 🚧
GEORGE STREET, HOVE

Matt and his team are still whizzing on this project for our returning Investor and are currently ahead of our schedule. Everywhere should be plastered by the end of the week. First fix electrics and plumbing have been completed and most of the windows are now in place. Our PM Jon is currently working on the kitchen design with a couple of rejig's required and will be meeting our investor onsite in the next week or two, to complete the final interior designs/feature walls and furniture planning.

PROJECT UPDATE 👷‍♂️ 🚧 Mixed Use Development
Our plan is to renovate the commercial unit on the ground floor with an open plan kitchen, store and WC. Create a 1 x 2 bed apartment and a 1 x 5 bed HMO.⠀

Our PM Tim has been to our North Road, Lancing project and is actually 'on the tools' as we speak with a paint brush in hand, helping the crew onsite as we head into the final push on this project. With the final stages of the decorating underway and feature wallpaper going up, as well as the final electrics being completed.

- Kitchen has been ordered and is en-route
- Final flight of stairs to fit
- Roof and dormer cladding complete- Internal paint colours, carpets and Karnedean to be decided- Drylining to and 2nd fix to be completed throughout- We are keeping the original timber structure visible throughout the bedrooms as a feature wall

𝘖𝘜𝘙 𝘙𝘌𝘚𝘗𝘖𝘕𝘚𝘌 𝘛𝘖 𝘉𝘙𝘐𝘎𝘏𝘛𝘖𝘕 & 𝘏𝘖𝘝𝘌 𝘊𝘐𝘛𝘠 𝘊𝘖𝘜𝘕𝘊𝘐𝘓'𝘚 𝘈𝘙𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘓𝘌 4 𝘋𝘐𝘙𝘌𝘊𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕

In conjunction with Whaleback Planning & Design (.ltd) we contributed to the Brighton & Hove City Council (), consultation on the proposed Article 4 Direction to remove Class E permitted development rights in the city, which would come into force in February 2023.

We have raised concerns about the proposed Article 4 as we feel it goes well beyond the Government's new NPPF policy and guidance on Article 4 Directions, which has raised the bar for justifying the adoption of such Directions. We hope that the council will take on board our concerns and we look forward to the publishing of the response to the consultation.
