🚪 UPVC Door Not Closing Properly? Dropped? Scraping the frame?
Here’s a simple walkthrough showing exactly how I fix this using a proper toe & heel adjustment 👇

Most people think their UPVC door is warped or broken, but 9 times out of 10 it just needs packing correctly. When the glass hasn’t been toe’d & heel’d, the weight of the glass drags the door down over time, causing:

• 🔧 Door not latching
• 🥶 Draughts
• 🔐 Lock misalignment
• 🚫 Door scraping the bottom
• 💪 Stiff handles
• 🔄 Gaps around the frame

In the video I show step-by-step how a professional adjustment is done so the door closes smoothly again.

If your UPVC door is:
✔ not closing
✔ catching at the bottom
✔ hard to lock
✔ dropped on the hinge side
✔ letting in wind

…this is usually the fix. No need for a new door!

Toe & heel is how we support the weight of the door sash by packing the glass correctly, so everything lines up again. It’s a really common issue I repair all the time around Bristol.
