Volunteering in Scouts is a fantastic way to support the local community.

The Group supports the Local community of Young People in the Charlton Hayes Parish Council area. Based at the Spitfire Hangar at Brabazon we will be running weekly session during term time starting September 2026. A New community group in the heart of Brabazon.

We’re so lucky to have Mokoko's largest bakery at , filling the neighbourhood with the scent of their iconic 27-layer butter croissants, gorgeous naturally leavened breads and artisan hot coffee. 🥐☕

We've added information plaques to our street signs, sharing the stories behind the people that gave us our rich aviation heritage. It's another way we're celebrating the history that helped shape the neighbourhood we know today.

Ready for September 2026 🌞. Sessions running from Spitfire Hangar at Brabazon every Thursday during the school terms. The waiting list is open to all Young People living in the Charlton Hayes Parish Council area. This is a exciting new community group in the Brabazon estate.

This , we return to a particularly snowy day from may years ago, when the former Filton Airfield looked very different. ❄️

Fast forward to today and you'll see:

🌳 7,600+ square metres of green spaces and biodiverse landscaping
🦋 1.5 hectares of wildlife habitats
🏡 A growing community of over 1000 residents
🌱 400+ new trees planted

What started as an unused brownfield land has now become a greener, more vibrant new neighbourhood.
