Keeping your locks and doors secure in our HMO's

Security is one of the most important aspects of living in a HMO. With several tenants sharing a property, ensuring that all doors and locks are properly maintained and used correctly helps protect residents, their belongings, and the property itself.

Simple steps you can take as one of our tenants:

1. Always lock doors behind you

Whether leaving the property or simply entering, make sure communal entrance doors close properly and lock securely behind you. Never prop doors open, even for a short period.

2. Keep your room door locked when you are out

Your room is your private space. When you're away, ensure your room door is locked to help protect your personal belongings.

3. Report faulty locks immediately

If you notice a lock becoming difficult to use, a loose handle, or a door that doesn't close properly, report it to your landlord or property manager as soon as possible. Small issues can quickly become larger security risks if left unresolved.

4. Don't share keys or access codes

Keys, fobs, and entry codes should only be used by authorised residents. Sharing access with others can compromise the security of the entire property.

We have one room that has become available again due to failed referencing.

It is a fully furnished double room at our shared house on Boswell Street, Eastville. The monthly rent includes bills and is £750 pcm.

Bills included: WiFi, Council Tax, electric, gas, water, fortnightly communal cleaner.

Furniture included: double bed, bedding, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk, chair, lamp and wall hangings.

Please note, double room refers to the size of the room, all of our rooms are for single occupation only.
