A winter weekend break to Poppy Cottage. We went to the Christmas Spectacular Show at Thursford which was amazing! Afternoon tea at Heydon Village Tea Room and a blustery walk from Sheringham to Cromer and back. Brunch at a cafe in Holt called Horatio's and wandering around a Christmas market in Holt. Then back for a snooze 😴

It's been a while but we managed to get up to Poppy Cottage for a brief weekend visit and check the cottage over! We managed to get out and about to Cley Next The Sea, go for a walk and grab lunch at The Harnser pub!

First proper weekend away to Poppy Cottage enjoying the spring sunshine taking a coastline walk from Overstrand to Mundesley and back, with lunch at The Ship in Mundesley! A stop off on the way back to the Two Magpie bakery in Holt for a sweet treat!

Finally decided to try a seal boat trip to view Grey and Harbour seals at Blakeney Point. Went with Bishops Boats and had a fab trip, thank you! Was great to see them in their natural environment.

Installed our new zip/link bed today at Poppy Cottage to provide more flexibility for people to stay. It can be a double or two singles🥳

Spending a weekend at the cottage, trying to dodge the showers! Visited our ‘local’ the Three Horseshoes and did a route around the village of Briston! Time to put our feet up! X

Just upgraded our bathroom & WC ready for the new summer season! We removed the bath and installed a walk-in shower.
