Welcome to Polly’s Place, a traditional fisherman’s cottage perched above Brixham harbour, with panoramic views across the marina and out to the Breakwater ⛵

Newly decorated and full of character, this three bedroom coastal hideaway has plenty to love, from the cosy lounge with its wood burning stove to the sun terrace overlooking the harbour.

Some places are worth going a little out of your way for. Devon has plenty of them. 🌿

From hidden riverside villages and dramatic waterfalls to colourful fishing harbours and wild open moorland, here are seven places that deserve a spot on your Devon bucket list.

📍 Ilfracombe – A charming North Devon harbour town with dramatic coastal scenery, hidden coves and Damien Hirst's striking Verity sculpture.

📍 Noss Mayo – A peaceful waterside village on the Yealm Estuary, made for leisurely walks and long lunches overlooking the water.

📍 Lydford Gorge – A spectacular woodland gorge on the edge of Dartmoor, home to cascading waterfalls and beautiful riverside trails.

📍 Dartmoor – Wild ponies, ancient tors, open moorland and some of Devon's most breathtaking landscapes.

📍 Brixham – Colourful harbourfront cottages, traditional fishing boats and some of the freshest seafood in South Devon.

📍 Clovelly – A wonderfully preserved fishing village where steep cobbled streets wind between whitewashed cottages towards the sea.

The beauty of Dartmoor… a place that never feels like you’ve explored enough. Wide open moorlands, dramatic granite toes, winding country lanes and views that stop you in your tracks, literally.

A little harbour bustle, a little garden quiet. 🌿⚓️

Introducing Petal Cottage, our newest hideaway in Brixham, South Devon. Tucked away in a quiet residential spot, this welcoming cottage puts harbour wanders, seafood suppers and days by the sea within easy reach.

Inside, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms and a cosy living space with French doors opening onto an enclosed garden. Take your morning coffee outside, settle into the summer house with a book, or linger over an evening drink while deciding what tomorrow looks like.

A countryside stay with Exmoor on the doorstep. 🌿

Keepers Lodge is a stylish two-bedroom retreat at Luckett Farm, set among peaceful North Devon farmland near Exmoor National Park.
Built as part of a Grade II listed 16th-century thatched Devon longhouse, it blends historic character with a clean, contemporary feel. Inside, there’s a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings, and two generous king-size bedrooms, both with their own en-suite bathrooms.

Outside, the setting does most of the talking: rolling countryside, quiet farmland and plenty of space to slow things down.
It’s a lovely base for exploring Exmoor, heading to the North Devon coast, discovering nearby villages or finding a very good country pub.

Countryside calm, cosy evenings and somewhere lovely to come back to.
