A 282kg Bluefin Tuna has set a new PORT RECORD in Brixham! 🎣🎉

Landed over the weekend by the vessel Mizpah, this incredible fish was caught using rod and line and is the biggest ever line-caught tuna to be landed in Brixham (so far!).

This morning, the fish was sold to Flying Fish Seafoods through our online auction, whose customers include many Michelin-starred restaurants around the country.

An exceptional catch and a new piece of Brixham fishing history 🙌

The Cptn himself! Available for visits to Mariners or Fisherman’s cottage!

The one and only Captain Blackheart o' Brixham, Ric Vince.
If you've visited Brixham, it's highly likely you've seen him, or heard him, a fantastic pirate and a very nice guy.
I've been doing some portrait photography with some lovely people.
This is one from a night time shoot with Captain Blackheart on Berry Head, Brixham. You can see the Moon reflecting in the sea behind him. :)
