Seeing as the sun doesn’t want to come out, I thought I’d show you some photos of the Broadstairs Flats new bedroom layout and colour scheme.

A vision into a reality

The end of week 5 and the changes are clear to see!

1st fix electrics is well underway with just the front room and kitchen to wire. Tacking is full steam ahead and plastering/bonding can soon commence - we will be starting in kitchen and bathroom so the kitchen can be installed and the bathroom can be tiled

The timber frame is complete and the roof has now been fibre glassed. Big thanks to Turners Carpentry, pleasure having you on site as always.

Built in wardrobes have been built to bed 2 and bed 1 is currently under construction - these are going to look smart!

As of Monday, we commence bringing down the solid concrete old opening in the lounge to fully open up the space - this won’t be fun (for Rick and Matt!) - Wednesday is the beginning of the new front steps and driveway!

The countdown is on at the Broadstairs Flat!

Decorations are all but complete with a few little items to finish but we are going to wait for all flooring and carpet to be installed before they’re seen to.

We still have to do a few little bits in the kitchen such as levelling the cupboard doors but that’ll be done once flooring is down also.

The bathroom is yet to be finished due to our trusty plumber Mark having hurt himself 2 weeks ago - not at work you’ll be pleased to know - but he is back Friday (and Monday depending on how long it takes) to get that finished.

Once these bits are done, it’s the big clean up, mastic man in and then back on the market for the stunning 1 bed flat! Fingers crossed, next Friday all will be closed out!

1st week (3 days) in the bag at the Broadstairs Bungalow renovation and I’m very happy with the progress. Rick has decided to go on holiday and this has meant I have had to be doing more of the rip out than normal - all I can say is - Rick, please don’t ever do this to me again!

Next step is to get the engineer out to check a few things proper to walls coming down! We said we weren’t going to do a huge renovation I know but it wouldn’t be WPL without making things hard for ourselves!

Anyways - enjoy that English sun and I hope the bbqs are out for you all! I know mine is!

SOLD SOLD SOLD

Today we completed on the sale of our Broadstairs renovation project. It was lovely to meet the buyers over the weekend and we wish them a very very happy time at this wonderful property (if I do say so myself).

As always, big shout out to all those involved in this project. The results are getting better with each project!

Tomorrow we commence works to the Broadstairs flat in a bid to make the property look as good inside as the view deserves!
