Whether youâre loving or listing here's your Spring maintenance list to keep your house in tip top condition
Guttering â Clear fallen leaves, moss and debris from guttering to prevent blockages. Down forget to check the down pipes too!
External woodwork â remove flaking paint, fill holes and redecorate all external woodwork to prevent it from deteriorating.
Clear out drain gulleyâs â drain gulleyâs and Aco drains are likely to have a build-up of debris from the winter. Now is a great time to get them cleared out.
Jet wash surfaces â Patios, decking, paths and driveways are likely to have a build-up of algae and weeds etc. Especially those in the shade. A pressure washer or jet wash can be an easy way to clean these. Although, it can get messy! This improves the surfaces and prevents some areas from being slippery when wet.
Fences and outdoor furniture â Timber fencing requires protection to prolong its serviceable life. A timber treatment is great at protecting fences. Either brush on or spray on application if you have a lot to do. If spraying, watch out for spray over the fence on the neighbours cat!
