🚨 NEW FLASH… IT’S ALL TRUE! 🚨

The rumours are officially confirmed… WE’RE MOVING! 🥳🎉

After an incredible 12 years at Shore Road, Brodick, our residency there will come to an end on 31st October. 💔

But for the record, this isn’t goodbye we are simply relocating and although our place is a tad smaller we will still have the same team, a similar but smaller menu (with some new additions😉) and of course our cakes, shakes and still a fantastic view!

….we will drop our opening dates and location once we get everything 💯 confirmed - when we know you’ll know 🫶🏼

Kings Cross and Sandbraes are the most northerly areas of Whiting Bay. Kings Cross is known for its Viking burial ground and views across to Holy Isle. Sandbraes is sometimes visited by the air ambulance, a familiar view to locals but often not to visitors, and definitely one you don't want to take a flight in.

Cottage of the Week: Avoca, Whiting Bay

This week, we’re shining a spotlight on Avoca, a charming period house in Whiting Bay with beautiful views across the Clyde, Ayrshire coastline and village.

Sleeping up to 4 guests, Avoca is a lovely choice for couples, friends or small families looking for a relaxed coastal stay in one of Arran’s most popular villages. The house has been lovingly restored and has the feel of a comfortable beach house, with traditional style, cosy living and plenty of character.

Inside, guests can enjoy a kitchen, garden room and dining area, a lounge with wood-burning stove and Smart TV, two bedrooms and a bathroom with double-ended bath and shower.

The views are a real highlight, with windows facing the bay and a beautiful garden setting to enjoy. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with sea views and a lovely patio at the back of the property.

Whiting Bay is a brilliant base for walking, swimming, beachcombing, angling, kayaking, biking, putting and exploring the east side of Arran.

Dogs are welcome by arrangement for one small to medium-sized dog.
