This Sunday, we’re introducing you to another very special resident of the Willey Estates — Blossom, Jim’s cat! 🐱

Jim lives and works on the estate, so Blossom is very much part of estate life too. Whether she’s keeping Jim company, exploring her surroundings or simply finding the perfect spot for a little snooze, she certainly knows how to make herself at home!

This Sunday, we’re showing off one of the very special residents of the Willey Estates — Effy, the mini magician sheep! 🐑🎩✨

Effy has a rather magical habit of appearing and disappearing. One minute she’s there… and the next she’s transformed herself into what looks suspiciously like a molehill!

When it’s raining, Effy can often be found hiding underneath her much bigger sheep buddies. But there’s one thing that makes her magically reappear every time… food!

Effy is five years old and is a Ouessant sheep. She was bottle-reared after her mum sadly died shortly after she was born, and she has grown into the funniest little sheep — extremely independent and very much her own character.

Soon Effy will be sheared again, and her beautiful fibre will be sent to a spinner to be turned into knitting yarn.

And what will become of it?

Well… a very, very small jumper, of course!

Several members of the team have completed Repair Care training over the years, but Chris is our expert! It was great to welcome representatives from Repair Care to see our work first hand and hear their praise for the exceptional finish Chris consistently achieves.
