Brough South is being developed by the Horncastle Group PLC on behalf of the Brough South Consortium and consists of a 125 acre site between the railway line and the old Brough Aerodrome. Once completed, the £200m development will consist of more than 700 new family homes, a supermarket, new healthcare facilities and care facilities for the elderly, restaurants, hotel and pub for family use, commu
nity facilities, a range of non-food shops, natural play environments, better access to the Humber Estuary and Welton Waters, improved transport infrastructure including cycle, bus and pedestrian links a relief road to the Humber Enterprise Park and junction improvements to the A63. The development is being brought forward in partnership with East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Network Rail, and is part-funded with a loan from the Home and Communities Agency. Brough South will create more than 700 new, permanent jobs once completed and 200 jobs during the construction phase.
